Casino RSM Club is proud to announce a significant milestone in its history: the appointment of Trudy Lamont as the first woman to serve as President of the Board of Directors.
This landmark achievement marks a new chapter in the Club’s commitment to inclusivity, innovation and leadership excellence.
Ms Lamont is a life-long Casino resident and was re-elected to the Casino RSM Board for a third term in November. She brings years of experience in small business, compliance and legal, holding Batchelor and Masters degrees in law, specialising in good corporate governance for boards and organisational risk management.
In her new role as president, Ms Lamont aims to focus on expanding Club initiatives, increasing member engagement and fostering community partnerships.
“This is not only a personal honour but also an important moment for the Casino RSM Club,” Ms Lamont said.
“I am committed to building on the Club’s rich legacy while creating opportunities for growth, innovation and inclusivity.”
The Board of Directors, staff and Club members are enthusiastic about the new chapter this appointment represents.
CEO John Walker said Ms Lamont’s leadership would undoubtedly bring fresh perspectives and energy to the Board.
