Unveiling the Club's Stunning Transformation!

We are thrilled to announce the completion of our extensive renovations, ushering in a new era of elegant spaces and functionality for our members and guests. The transformation, curated by architects and specialist interior designers, showcases our commitment to modernising our spaces while preserving our core value of being an inviting community space for all.

The Club's exterior facelift, completed in late 2024, has given the building a fresh and inviting appearance that not only enhances the Club's aesthetic appeal but also highlights our dedication to maintaining a welcoming environment.

Interior renovations began in November 2024, focusing initially on the left-hand side entrance which were completed by January 2025. This area now boasts a modern boardroom, The Bill McMahon room, named after the Club’s first president. This formal, modern, and comfortable space has been designed for formal meetings and provides state-of-the-art technology.

A major highlight of the renovation project has been creating our new and exclusive cocktail and whiskey bar, the 1948 Lounge. This cosy, intimate space for up to 40 people is currently proposed to open on selected days and times, as well as being available for private hire. It promises to be a favourite spot for members and guests seeking a sophisticated yet comfortable setting.

Our main auditorium, the Mirage Room has been transformed into the Wundaraan Room, named by board director Troy Freeburn, using the Bundjalung word for "meeting place." Additionally, the Jupiter Room has been renamed Richmond, and the Crown Room is now Reflections. These rooms can be used individually, or combined with Lassiter for large parties or events, with stunning natural light streaming from the feature window at the front of the Club. The reception area now includes booth seating, ideal for casual working spaces, a coffee break, or a comfortable waiting spot. This enhancement ensures that the Club remains a versatile and inviting space for all its members and guests.

Throughout the renovation process, the Club has tried to prioritise minimising disruption to its patrons and much of the construction work was scheduled outside of business hours. This allowed our members and guests to continue enjoying the Club's facilities with minimal inconvenience. We would however like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who visited us during the renovation period for their patience and support during our transformation.

We would now invite all our members and the wider Casino community to experience our newly renovated spaces as we are confident that these enhancements will serve as the backdrop for countless cherished memories in the years to come.
